The Petersons donated a 1 acre conservation easement on a hillside that overlooks Oswego Lake. The property provides excellent views and enhances the publicly owned open space of the South Shore Overlook by extending an already protected piece of property. A pair of bald eagles continues to nest on the property, successfully raising one eaglet in 2001.

Peterson Overlook is visible from Terrace Drive in Lake Oswego.  There are no hiking opportunities.
