Meyer Memorial Trust Awards $135,000 to the 1,000 Acre Challenge

Document Actions
Three Rivers Land Conservancy is in the middle of its 1,000 Acre Challenge.  Our goal: to conserve 700 new acres, restore 300 and build two miles of trail.  We are 35% of the way to these goals.

On January 14th, Meyer Memorial Trust awarded this effort $135,000.  Their gift will build Three Rivers capacity to raise funds to complete the 1,000 Acre Challenge.  Three Rivers will use these funds to hire two new part-time positions and several professional consultants over the next 3 years.
An estimated $500,000, beyond our annual operating budget, is needed to meet the 1,000 Acre Challenge by 2010.

Contact Executive Director, Jayne Cronlund, jcronlund@trlc.org if you would like to contribute to the 1,000 Acre Challenge.
